Quick & Easy Rolled Oats Porridge

For a wonderfully comforting, sustaining and healthy breakfast you can’t beat porridge made with rolled oats and Origin Earth Milk. This recipe is for a single serve, but you can just as easily make enough to feed the whole family – depending on how many you are feeding use double the amount milk to rolled oats and increase the cooing time. For example, to feed four use 1 cup rolled oats and 2 cups milk – the cooking time will be about 5 minutes, stir a couple of times.

Serves 1

¼ cup rolled oats

½ cup Origin Earth Milk

Pinch salt (optional)

1 Place rolled oats and milk in a microwave-safe bowl or jug, add salt, if using. Stir to combine.

2 Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) for 1 minute, stir and microwave for 30 seconds longer, if necessary.

Delicious served topped with fresh or dried fruit, nuts, or seeds, a dollop of Origin Earth Pot Set Yoghurt and a drizzle of honey.
